Content Manager

Location: Cheshire

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 plus benefits

Our client is considered to be one of the largest independent insurance brokers across the UK, where quality and customer service is without question a vital component to their success and core values.As a result of expansion, they are currently looking to recruit a Content Manager for their office location in Cheshire.

If you are looking to be part of a leading specialist broker, then this could be the role for you, Reporting to the Group Marketing Director you will be accountable for developing content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets, Create, improve and maintain content to achieve business goals across all channels and all business areas as well as producing content to raise brand awareness across key sectors.

Responsibilities

·Creation and ongoing management of content development calendar including:

·Manage all Group-wide advertising opportunities including rate negotiation, booking, creative, sign-off and ROI.

·In-house production of editorial, advertorial and opinion-piece development for sector specific magazines to support advertising commitments and PR opportunities.

·Sourcing and management of external content writing agencies, content development platforms and freelancers to ensure content is produced to agreed brief and fit for purpose.

·Ongoing review and refresh of website content, in consultation with external web agencies and digital team where required.

·Production of Marketing Monthly Report – detailing coverage and advertising ROI – and assisting with future Group-wide marketing plans

·Managing content in consultation with affinity partners.

·Amplification and re-purposing of existing content to suit different audience types and channels.

·Planning, producing and approving internal communications.

·Development and management of advertising calendar, refreshing content and meeting advertising deadlines.

·Copy-writing and proofreading.

Requirements

·Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word and WordPress skills.

·Copywriting experience.

·Innovative and engaging copywriting style for a variety of audiences.

·Fine eye for detail and ability to multi-task.

·Search engine optimisation (SEO) for websites.

·Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word

·Excellent stakeholder management

·Copywriting experience for wide range of audiences
