Adecco have a fantastic opportunity to join an established company based in Newbury. Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team permanently. The role is working Monday to Friday and offering a salary of £24,000 - £26,000 plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Raising purchase orders
• Data entry
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Supplier reconciliation
• Setting up new suppliers
• Sales invoices & credit notes
• Setting up new customers
• Cash allocation
• Adhoc, supporting Management Accountant

Candidates will ideally have/be:
• High level IT skills, MS office, Excel Intermediate/Advanced
• Used to working with large retail customers
• Working knowledge of stock transactions
• Confident dealing with suppliers and customers
• Highly developed organisation and problem solving skills
• Team player
• Well-organised but flexible in the light of changing priorities, understands and meets deadlines
