• Daily pay £70 - £85 depending on experience
Empowering learning are currently recruiting for a Progress Coach/Behaviour Mentor to work in a Pupil Referral Unit based in Bromley. The role is full time, for 6-weeks initially starting Immediately, with the potential to becoming a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for people who have experience of working in a pupil referral unit ideally or experience of working with children that have challenging behaviour in an SEND setting will also be considered. The PRU will only consider candidates that have been trained in Team Teach due to the challenging behaviour of the pupils. The provision offers a range of services from short term respite provision to longer term education for students in Key Stage 4 for whom mainstream school is no longer able to meet their needs.

• Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
• Ability to engage and support pupils
• Supervising & Monitoring pupils behaviour

Job Requirements
• Experience of working with children or young adults with challenging behaviour
• Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
• Experience of working at a progress coach or Mentor
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Available 5 days a week and able to commit immediately
