Our client is one of the leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants in the West of England.

They are able to provide advice on all aspects of accountancy as well as a range of more specialised services such as: Corporate Finance, Tax Consultancy and Business Recovery & Insolvency.

We are looking for someone to be a brand ambassador. You will create and deliver their marketing strategy and drive communications across internal and external channels.

The successful candidate will undertake the planning, coordinating and implementing the firm’s activities with respect to marketing and PR, with the objective to increase visibility and brand recognition to strengthen and expand the firm’s client base.

Role Objective

Creation and implementation of the Marketing Strategy and plan(s) to support and drive the overall business strategy. Supporting managers and partners/directors in implementing and undertaking the agreed marketing activities. Prepares and manages public relations activities and communications for the firm (or contracts with and provides oversight to outside agencies), including press releases, other firm announcements, media materials, and coordination with any outside PR consultants.Designs (or contracts with and provides oversight to outside vendors to design) print and online advertising and negotiates media buys and associated contracts. Designs (or contracts with and provides oversight to outside vendors to design), updates, and maintains online and print marketing and business development materials for the firm, including partner and employee profiles, practice descriptions, brochures, and electronic newsletters. Also, oversees mailing list creation and updates.Designs artwork and selects products for promotional use at tradeshows, presentations, etc.Manages the firm’s web site via a content management system, social networking for the firm and its employees (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), and other electronic communications, including drafting and updating content and images, evaluating effectiveness, drafting and implementing policies, and working with outside technical and design consultants as neededOversees the organisation of the business development/client services functions, events, and opportunities for the firm receptions, conferences, seminars, and other special firm-sponsored eventsIdentifies, evaluates, and makes recommendations for firm participation in sponsorships, conferences, tradeshows, speaking and writing opportunities, and similar events. Coordinates activities (RSVPs, promotional products, advertising, presentation slides, etc.) as needed. Promotes speaking engagements as appropriate.General Business Development activitiesWorking with the Business Development Manager develop a marketing/ business development plan, defining target clients, measuring success and growth.CRM management
• Working with the Business Development Manager in the training to enable colleagues to utilise the CRM system effectively.
• Maintaining the CRM system to enable accurate and effective reporting.
• Working with the Business Development Manager to increase internal engagement with marketing and BD function and how it works with the business.

Education & Qualifications
• Degree calibre
• CIM qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in marketing
