Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer required for an opportunity with a leading Gloucestershire based business.

Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: (Apply online only) (2 shift/3 shift)

BASIC FUNCTION

The role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is to provide a full preventative and breakdown maintenance service cover across a wide range of production machinery & equipment.

MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities are:

- Electrical & Mechanical repair & preventative maintenance of all machinery, electrical equipment, new platforms & factory services to a high standard in accordance with manufacturers specifications.

- Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical fault finding and repair on all production equipment including PLC controlled machinery.

- Ensure H&S Regulations and company procedures are adhered to at all times.

- Improve the reliability of machinery and equipment.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes and skills:

- Strong Electrical Maintenance Effective fault finding skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
- Mechanical appreciation for Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Industrial Control
- Problem solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to prevent re-occurrence of breakdowns
- A good understanding & compliance of H&S Regulations & procedures.

The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will have gained experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking preventative maintenance, repairs and installation of electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment.

You will have a drive to improve reliability of machinery and equipment through Continuous Improvement which will be essential for this role.

The Maintenance Engineer will ideally be qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND or have equivalent 2-3 years post apprenticeship experience.
