Service Desk Manager with very strong ITIL and a background in Managed Services required by my highly successful managed service client. The Service Desk Manager will be responsible for all 1st line interaction with internal and external customers. The Service Desk Manager will be responsible for ensuring all tickets are logged and driven to a successful resolution in the agreed timescales/SLA's with specific attention to the Incident management processes including Major incident escalation within an ITIL framework.. The Service Desk Manager will control the majority of interaction with supported users and is a pivotal role in the on-going success of the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will :

You will have a proven track record in Service Operations and managed large Service Desk Teams.
Have an excellent understanding and awareness of ITIL processes and tools and be certified to ITIL V3 intermediate level Have significant previous commercial experience in effectively managing multiple relationships with customers and providers
Have worked in a highly demanding Managed Service environment
Have a strong business acumen coupled with experience of delivering a first-class service in a Microsoft Tech Stack environment
Be process focused and have superb leadership and management skills
Have very strong relationship management skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively across a wide range of business areas and to all levels in the organisation structure
