My client, a busy and dynamic consultancy, with lovely offices based in the City, seek an energetic, confident and experienced accounts / finance assistant, who is able to work on their own as well as within a diverse team…

It is essential that you have advanced Excel skills and have at least 2 years’ experience of using an accounting package…

Main duties will consist of;

Experienced in accounting packages - QuickBooks specifically, (although experience with Sage would be fine)

Accurate bank payment allocations and bank reconciliations

Accurate Client Invoicing and allocation of client payments

Knowledgeable on VAT

Month End Management Reporting

Collection, querying and processing of staff expenses

Management of supplier payments and credit control

Designing of effective project financial forecasting/management spreadsheets

New project invoicing forecasting in collaboration with project consultants

Review of existing spreadsheet templates as required

Pre-proposal submission accuracy checks of sales team project costings

Analysis of project profitability, timesheet reporting and non-recoverable costs

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential!

There will also be plenty of ad hoc project work to get involved with…

Starting salary circa 29K plus bens
