An exciting opportunity for a Senior Revenue Manager EMEA has arisen for a global market leading software company based in a prestigious location in West London. This position is very fast moving within a large business that continues to grow and expand

Key Duties:

* Serve as a technical reference for the sales and contracts teams during the contract negotiation process by analysing the impact of ‘red flag’ contract terms, communicating the revenue impact of such terms, and offering alternative structures, if available
* Review and analyse software contracts and document significant terms and accounting conclusions, focus primarily on reviewing more complexed negotiation and contracts primarily for the responsible countries within EMEA as well as support Director, Revenue Recognition on EMEA revenue team for the same task
* Support Director, Revenue Recognition EMEA to streamline the revenue recognition process or any other process relating to revenue
* Responsible for revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations, ensuring detail schedules are reconciled to General Ledger for the responsible countries as well as support
* Support Director of Revenue Recognition and Participate in periodic communication, updates, and training covering revenue recognition policies affecting the contracts department and the sales organisation
* Assist in ongoing updates of the Worldwide Contracts and Revenue Recognition Policies and Procedures and related internal controls
* Perform, analyse, and summarise accounting research related to revenue recognition
* Work with the Financial System Development Team to develop, test and implement system enhancements
* Preparation and completion of other adhoc projects and tasks that may be required from time-to-time

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) qualified and have 5+ years overall experience in revenue recognition within a US software business. You will have strong technical skills and be up to date with the latest revenue recognition rules
