A growing global solutions company are looking to recruit a Head of Operations to joining their vibrant and busy team based in Cheadle, Stockport area. If you have experience of implanting strategic change, controlling budgets and enjoy seeing positive business change, please read below.

* Transitioning and ongoing contract management of Outsourced Field Service Engineering Providers to ensure service delivery against contract SLAs
* Develop extended services in line with business objectives and deliver cost control against the contract
* Leading on internal business improvement and process change to deliver more effective and efficient systems and improved customer outcomes.
* Line management for the UK functions of Project Delivery, Support & Helpdesk, Customer Experience Team, Supply Chain, Support Contracts Administration;
* Leadership across the organisation including best practice customer first principles.
* Responsible to the UK Managing Director for the Support Services elements of the annual operational plan through the management of Customer Care including revenue and SLA and KPI performance
* Responsible to the UK Managing Director for the delivery Services elements of the annual operational plan through the management of Projects including invoicing and KPI performance
* To control overheads within agreed budget
* To manage and direct all UK operations staff and facilities, and to provide leadership and guidance across the business, always promoting best practice
* Responsible for operational business data for the Business Review Meeting each month.
* As a member of the Exec team, to be jointly responsible for formulating and implementing overall entity strategy.

The Successful candidate will possess:

* Significant experience and track record in:
* Transformation / change management / process development in an operations environment;
* Contract Management for Outsourced field engineers, including SLA and cost management and service development;
* Line management in an Operations environment, preferably working with public sector clients;
* Strong leadership demonstrating coaching, mentoring and delegation skills and valuing ideas and contribution from all team members;
* Focus on the customer, both internal and external, always.
