TeamJobs are seeking an Interim Financial Controller, available immediately, for our Poole based client. This is a STC and a competitive salary is on offer.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to a degree level with a CIMA/ACCA qualification with several years’ experience in a commercial business environment – preferably production or manufacturing.
Reporting to the MD, you will be a confident communicator and have strong Excel skills and be competent writing formulae, using pivot tables and extrapolating data.
An example of the responsibilities are as follows
• Oversee the 4 person team and manage all the company accounts systems using SAGE 200.
• Prepare month end journals
• Produce monthly management figures for presentation to the Directors using Sage 200 & Excel
• Prepare the payroll information for the external payroll company and keep all payroll records taking account of holiday, sickness and unpaid leave
• Provide job costings on project work undertaken and process in the accounting transactions in respect of this work
• Liaise with the accountants as required to provide year-end figures to them.
