We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our corporate messaging and global editorial content, including inbound marketing strategies.Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background, able to develop engaging content to attract and engage new potential customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and digital marketing trends. Ultimately, you will produce and oversee the production of engaging quality content that speaks to our audiences and boosts engagement with our brand.Main ResponsibilitiesWrite corporate editorial, blog posts and marketing copy to promote our products and servicesPartner with research and consulting teams to generate new content marketing ideas to promote industry-related topicsBuild relationships with senior internal stakeholders to deliver Thought Leadership marketing programmeDeliver content strategies for knowledge partnerships with external conference organisersDesign content marketing initiatives and set short-term goals for generating new inbound leads for both ecommerce and subscription campaigns.Collaborate with creative services, product marketing and our research business to produce high quality contentDevelop global editorial calendar, coordinating with social media and PR teams and ensure timely publicationDeliver engaging audience based messaging and on a regular basis and maintain evergreen content across the websiteProofread, re-structure and edit articles by other marketers, optimising written pieces to increase user engagement.Own writing style guide and enforce editorial governance, inspiring fellow team members to create even better contentOptimise content considering SEO and Google AnalyticsAnalyse web traffic metrics to find opportunities for improving audience messaging on digital channelsKnowledge & ExperienceProven experience as a Content marketing manager, Content Editor, Journalist or similar role.Proficiency in MS Office and Content Management Software (eg EpiServer)Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferencesUnderstanding of web publishing requirements and hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metricsProject management skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and writing skills in EnglishDegree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism or relevant fieldCore CompetenciesYou understand the vision of Wood Mackenzie Client focused Efficiency focusedDetermined and resilient Continuous improvementLifelong learning Creativity Building and Maintaining RelationshipsYou share ideas and experience to achieve objectives CommunicationCollaboration WoodMackenzie Core Values
