Automation Test Analyst is required by an ever-expanding Internet of Things (IoT) software company. My client has achieved vast success in a very short period with their pioneering product offering up a revolutionary end-to-end solution to various industries and leading organisations. My client has already cemented their status as a trailblazer for their industry, representing the first digital disruptor in the space delivering a solution that replaces extensive paperwork and red tape for their client base. Demand for their solution has resulted in the need to bolster their ranks in order for them to move their product forward, offering new functionality and brand new elements.

Hurren and Hope have been approached by the company CTO who joins from a former client of our own, our relationship spans the past 10 years ensuring we are well placed to represent you. Candidates joining the company will benefit from the backing of a large venture capitalist organisation with a history with a longstanding success story within the technology space. Large investments and an experienced board provide a great environment for individuals keen to break new ground and build on their existing automated Test skill set.

Successful candidates will have 2-3 years demonstrable experience with Automation Testing with solid experience of web/cloud-based test methods and tools to include Cucumber, Selenium and Protractor. Applicants able to display a proficiency in scripting with JavaScript, Bash and Python in addition to knowledge of testing API’s and Web Services will be of particular interest. Competency in Jira, Git and/or Jenkins will also be of interest though are not mandatory requirements of the role. Candidates experienced in Agile methodologies (particularly Scrum) along with Mobile App automation (iOS, Android etc), Cross-browser testing and/or performance testing will be advantageous but are not essential as the company are committed to investing in training.

As an individual, you will be keen to learn, enjoy working as a team within a highly autonomous environment. The product is focused on public safety so an eye for detail and social conscience is important. Excellent oral and written English are also essential.
