Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Sunday to Saturday, 09:00 to 18:00 5 days one week and 6 days the next
Salary: Competitive

About the role:

The Travel Administrator will be required to deal with daily duties to include post (both in-coming and out-going) filing, answering the telephone; dealing with client’s queries and calling clients back with a customer service outlook.

Additionally, you will chase late payments, send out client invoices and tickets and you will check invoices from suppliers. You will also answer client’s emails and letters and run statistics collected on our in-house system.

About you:

This position requires individuals with an excellent telephone manner able to cope within a sometimes-pressurised environment and meet deadlines with a flexible approach to working hours. You must be willing to learn our in-house back office system (TARSC) as well as new administration procedures associated with the travel industry. Travel agency experience, or experience within the travel industry is essential.

Experience in similar roles is an advantage, but these positions will be more diverse than most due to the nature of the business and requires applicants who enjoy a challenge and are prepared to work on their own initiative, together with dedication for their job, total accuracy and loyalty to the company. You must be prepared to take on other general administrative duties as and when required.
