My client an Infrastructure Design and Transport Planning consultancy who are based in Nottingham and have over 5 offices based across the UK. This consultancy employ over 50 staff between these offices and work on a range of schemes including residential, commercial and industrial.

Their Nottingham office currently consists of 12 members, and due to recent growth in their workload they are looking to increase their work force in order to undertake their current projects. For this reason they are now on the lookout for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer who will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working for a UK based engineering consultancy, and will have previous experience producing road and drainage designs. The ideal candidate will also be actively working towards achieving chartership with the institute of civil engineer’s.

The Role:

- The successful Civil Infrastructure Engineer will work within a team of specialist engineers and technicians to ensure the delivery of projects.
- You will take responsibility for all aspects of design across a range of Civil Engineering projects predominantly with infrastructure within the built environment.
- Use of S38, S278 highways schemes and S104 drainage schemes together with preparing technical specifications.
- Attend regular site visits to liaise with clients and oversee current projects.

The Candidate:

- The successful Civil Infrastructure Engineer will be educated to degree level in Civil Engineering.
- Will be working towards achieving chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers.
- Will be experienced in relevant design software’s such as AutoCAD, PDS and Civil 3D.
