Finance Administrator
Location: Manchester
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 plus benefits

We're delighted to once again represent a highly regarded name in the Insurance Broking arena. My client are recruiting for their Accounts team and are keen to attract the best in the market!

Ideally candidates will have experience in the Insurance industry

As Finance Administrator you will be preparing reconciliations of bank statements, payroll, Month-end accounting processes and all credit control processes and queries, whilst providing an excellent level of client service within the Finance team in line with current Procedures and Service Standards.


• Maintain the client and insurer relationship in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Initiate, maintain and renew client loan applications.
• Provide support to other internal customers.
• Balance all relevant month end reports, reconciling any discrepancies as appropriate.
• Process cash receipts and payments.
• General office/administration duties in accordance with the Company Operating Procedures Manuals
• Maintenance of manual and computer records
• Data Input
• Diary Management
• Handling and resolution of internal and external queries


• Minimum 2 years’ financial experience (ideally within the insurance industry)
• Advanced knowledge of both Excel and Word
• Knowledge of Acturis would be desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Team Player
