Job Title: Housekeeper

Department: Operations

Reporting to: In-store Cleaning Manager

Place of Work: On site

Job Purpose (State in one paragraph the overall objective of the role)

To maintain the cleanliness of the customer premises throughout the day in line with the cleaning rota, standards and specification, working at all times within health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures.

• To demonstrate the TC values at all times
• To attend work in company uniform and be clean and presentable at all times
• To clean specific areas of the customer premises according to the schedule and specification
• To work in a safe manner at all times and ensure spillage clearance is fully compliant to the Methods of Clean Documents
• To be proactive in carrying out cleaning duties – identifying areas before they become an issue
• To carry out periodical cleaning as directed
• To ensure the cleaning cupboard and equipment is clean and tidy
• To promptly report any identified problems to the In-store Manager or maintenance team
• To provide a detailed and accurate handover to a colleague and the end of every shift
• To work as one team with your colleagues and the customer teams
• To respond to and prioritise customer requests efficiently
• To respond to enquiries by the customers customers professionally and in a timely manner
• To report to work on time, following all attendance reporting procedures
• To maintain an acceptable attendance standard
• To wear correct PPE as supplied and presented in a clean and hygienic appearance
• To inform your line manager in advance of any intended absence, in accordance with the absence reporting procedures
• To attend all required training
• To adhere to all company processes, policies and procedures
