As an analyst in the Life Insurance actuarial outsourcing team, you will work with a team of qualified and non-qualified actuaries across a portfolio of clients. This gives access to a diverse and interesting working environment in a growing and capable team.

The core tasks can include:

Preparing and analysing data to be used in actuarial models
Running actuarial models and other processes
Analysing results from actuarial models in spreadsheets
Drafting reports
Various financial reporting tasks
A key aspect of the work will be using software, such as modelling software and workflow tools. You will receive training on these tools and be expected to demonstrate keenness to acquire new skills and apply them to your work.

You will be expected to be involved in development and improvement activities where they seek to improve the processes they operate. This could be through spreadsheet development, implementing software or other ways.

Experience required:
General analytical and problem-solving skills essential
Good teamwork and communication skills essential
Good time management and self-organisation skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Knowledge of Life Insurance Industry beneficial
Programming experience is beneficial, but not essential
