Introduction:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join a leading University around the Manchester area on a 12 month contract. This role will see you delivering the marketing activity and messaging to the undergraduate market.

This role will suit a full mix marketing and communication expert with experience in the HE sector.

Role Requirements:

• Develop and deliver marketing communications, both on and offline, that link to the corporate marketing strategy and related communications and events strategies
• Lead project manager for the University prospectus ensuring it is delivered to a high standard and on time
• Attend ad-hoc marketing project and events meetings
• Ensure all content is delivered consistently, accurately and to a high standard
• Deliver marketing intelligence projects to meet business needs
• Understand the competitors offering and any strategic changes they take
• Lead the marketing and events officer and teams for largescale events

Experience required:

• Proven experience delivering marketing and communications in the HE environment is preferred
• First class marketing and communications skills including digital marketing, planning and deliver of publications, campaign planning, event management and copywriting
• Able to develop quality content, edit, proof and delivery
• Marketing analysis and insight skills
• Able to deliver a diverse range of marketing and communications techniques
• Experience managing direct reports is key
• Strong events management

Salary:

£38,000 to £43,000 plus benefits
