Adecco Cheltenham are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the Gloucestershire area in their search for a Project Manager to join their Change and Transformation department. The Project Manager will report to the Head of Technology Change and Transformation, and be responsible for the provision of change and continuous improvement of services within the organisation.

Key Duties will involve:
- Responsibility for leading, driving and managing projects through their full lifecycle from requirements gathering through to deployment, acceptance and the successful completion.
- Supporting Senior Project Manager in the delivery of projects and programmes across the portfolio, ensuring regular status reporting, risks and issues.
- Working effectively with all stakeholders to ensure, projects are strategically aligned, achieve benefits and offer efficiencies and value for money.
- Developing and delivering each project in-line with required methodologies ensure consistency across the Change and Transformation service offering.
- Managing effective stakeholder engagement ensuring that there is strong, frequent and focused communication.
- Effectively managing third-party Supplier / Service Manager liaisons, contract management and finance management teams.

Applicant Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of change, transformation and acquired through minimum of 3 years work experience and hold a post graduate diploma or equivalent.
– Educated to masters level (or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in public services).
- Experience of post qualifying and continuing professional development.
- Demonstrable experience of working within a public service sector or dealing with external agencies.
- Extensive experience in delivering major projects relating to change and continuous improvement services.
- Proven experience of management and delivering change and transformation projects within a policing environment.
- Must possess an understanding of policing strategies, policies, procedures and working practices.
- Thorough understanding of PRINCE 2 understanding is essential.


In return our client will offer a starting salary of £38,538 per annum. Our client may have flexibility in regards to starting salary – please state your requirements in your application if they differ from this minimum.
