Our client, an impressive market leader in their chosen field, is looking to source a hard-working and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy, forward thinking team on a permanent basis. This is a rare vacancy due to high level employee retention and is an excellent opportunity to join a company renowned in the local area for looking after their staff.

Key accountabilities include:
• Register supplier invoices and credit notes onto the system
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Completing daily cash reconciliations
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Resolve invoice queries from suppliers and members of staff
• Producing and checking month end reports
• Allocate the daily cash post where necessary
• Processing company expenses
• Posting journals
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ experience working within a fast paced, high volume Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable role. You will be self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will possess strong inter-personal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external suppliers.
