Job Title: Market Manager

Location: Burgess Hill

Salary: up to £54k plus car allowance of £6,360 and bonus at 12% of salary

Temporary, 12 month contract

Our client based in Burgess Hill is looking to recruit a Market Manager. This is a hybrid role working closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams.

Formulate, lead and implement the marketing plan and strategy for integrated care solutions. Provide the relevant field personnel with marketing campaigns, materials and business models to be able to sell to a variety of Healthcare Organisations across the UK and ROI.

Responsibilities

Develop appropriate marketing strategy and tactical action plans to optimise performance in alignment with Business Unit and Company objectives:

* Produce annual marketing plans, to be approved by senior management and discussed with operational areas during development
* Produce a detailed breakdown of the promotional budget required to help implement the marketing plan

Lead and drive the successful implementation of the marketing plan:

* Ensure that the Field Force and other functional areas as necessary, has the knowledge, messages and skills required to successfully sell/support specific professional solutions
* Clearly communicate the marketing plan to relevant personnel – e.g. sales force, support functions
* Initiate, gain consensus and implement all marketing operations to achieve planned sales and profit contributions
* Monitor monthly progress against plan and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful achievement of plan

In conjunction with the Business Development function, support the creation of revenue-generating integrated management services and pathways:

* Identify opportunities in line with market intelligence and business development
* Assess tools made available by the Global or Regional organisation for fit within the UK/ROI
* Work with the Business Development Manager to take a leading role in scoping out proof of concepts including identifying and liaising with “innovator” and “early adopter” customers

* Work with the Finance and Business Operations teams to generate new revenue models such as outcome based
* Lead and/or participate in adhoc project teams to facilitate the launch and growth of solutions, services or new strategic approaches

Maintain a deep understanding of the NHS and LHE environment, keeping up to date with changes, in order to identify business opportunities and threats; and change approach and strategy accordingly:

* Liaise with the Market Research resources to obtain, cost effectively, the most up-to-date market intelligence regarding NHS customers
* Undertake regular field visits, including key customers and opinion leaders
* Be aware of the current policies, priorities and publications of the NHS (and other relevant bodies)
* Participate in relevant International and National customer/marketing meetings
* Organise and facilitate advisory groups/ customer meetings

* Manage allocated marketing budget in accordance to agreed latest financial plans
* Maintain and enhance the professional image of the Business Unit and the Company with internal personnel and customers.

Requirements

* Proven experience in Business Development or Sales within the healthcare industry
* Knowledge of the NHS payment structure
* Experience/knowledge of creating or selling patient pathways
* Degree educated or equivalent, ideally in a business related field or marketing, and whilst a formal higher education marketing (e.g. CIM) or business qualification is not essential it would be an advantage
* Proven commercial acumen, customer focus and project management skills
* Excellent problem solving abilities and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
* Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders whilst being a strong team player
* High sense of personal responsibility with the ability to manage challenging priorities and remain flexible and adaptable
