A leading high street fashion retail group are looking for a Group Ecommerce Analystto join their growing ecommerce team based in Cardiff.The primary responsibility of the Group Ecommerce Analyst is to;

·Challenge the way we do business through application of analytics to integrate insights in the operational workflow

·Provide data analysis to drive business decisions aimed at meeting departmental and organizational objectives.

·Support the organization to make data-driven business decisions across multi channels (online & offline) within marketing to optimize and guide each channel to higher performance.

·Collaborate with other team members to maintain, develop, execute, and analyse marketing actions to optimize recommendations to channel owners and executive team members on a periodic basis – all with the purpose of using data informed decision making to improve the ROI of each channel.

·Generate insights and testing methodologies based on campaign performance.

·Develop and automate daily, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards.

·Develop, automate, and maintain the cross-channel real-time dashboards and static reports that help marketers and ecom professionals focus on what is important

    Analyse and develop site path analysis with emphasis on increased conversion and ROI.Suggest A/B testing scenarios and manage statistical analysis and reporting process.Collate and develop best practices on building, testing and deploying predictive models. Example includes but not limited to: paid media optimization, customer journey analysis, social media analysis, customer segmentation model, personalization / preference model, etc.Perform data visualization to explore trends and relationships in the dataDevelop reporting based on unique KPIs for each channel that will show the performance relative to our goalsCommunicate to channel owners and executive leadership the channel performance relative to goalsParticipate in strategic discussions across channels to understand optimization opportunities and how they impact performanceHelp to drive recommendations on specific KPIs that may differ across channels and develop reporting around those metricsDevelop projections based on current performance and additional dashboard/reporting that will help guide channel owners to make better decisions

    Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s DegreeMinimum 3 years of work experience (or equivalent academic experience). Experience in ecommerce/retail a bonusStrong analytical skills and logic / problem solving skills.Ability and desire to learn new technologies and tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.Adapt to frequent changes in workload and be able to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate while completing tasks within established time framesAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow Team Members, management &outside contacts.Experience with Google Analytics is required
·Strong understanding of e-commerce and business models

·Detail oriented with strong communication skills (both oral and written)

·Proficiency with statistical analysis tools

    Direct involvement in working with large volumes of data and building, deploying and measuringUnderstanding of Web/Marketing Technology is a plus.Self-motivated, proactive, and confident working independently.Customer Intelligence.
