This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and well-respected family owned travel/touring business at a time of major growth and expansion. The role will play a pivotal part as the business expands its product offerings, working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to develop product strategy, and to deliver a programme of UK and European tours that are both innovative and commercially successful. Working on product offerings across the group, the role will seek to create new programmes in addition to ensuring the core existing product offerings are maintained. Responsibilities will be broad-ranging touching on planning, pricing, commercial, and liaising closely with sales and marketing. There is a real opportunity to shape and grow the role as the business further expands.

Skills
Ideal background in tour operation or escorted tours product/commercial capacity.
Strong pricing and commercial skills, to maximise profit and minimise cost to the business.
Ability to analyse performance and make trading and tactical recommendations and decisions.
Collaborative and positive approach to teamwork, and an ability to work to deliver product across the group business.
Ability to work in an agile business environment experiencing change and growth.
Excellent relationship and communications skills.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop positive commercial relationships with suppliers.
Organised approach and excellent planning skills
