We are currently looking for a Physics Teaching Assistant to join a positive secondary school in Croydon; the role is expected to offer exciting progression in a great school environment.
***Physics Teaching Assistant at a positive secondary school.
***Long term Physics Teaching Assistant, with the potential to train as a Teacher.
***£70.00 per day, increased if successfully accepted onto the Premier Pathways.
***Full-Time Physics Teaching Assistant position starting September 2018.
***Paid Teacher training programme.
***End the second year of the programme with a full PGCE and UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
To be consider for this Physics Teaching Assistant role you need to meet the following requirements; a 2.1 classified degree in Physics (or relevant similar subject), 3 high end A-levels (Physics is required), and Strong GCSEs (Including English, Maths, Science).
To make yourself stand out from other Physics Teaching Assistant candidates it is preferable to have some prior classroom-based experience, this is to show you have proactively been looking to start a rewarding career in teaching.
So, what is this Teacher Training Programme?
The programme is called Premier Pathways, and is a school based, two-year training programme.
This programme is a paid route to QTS and gives you the time to develop your Teaching confidence at your own pace.
You will receive high quality training and support throughout the programme and will have options to complete a masters after completion.
