Tech Support Helpdesk Advisor / Field Engineer
Location: Lancing
Salary: £16k-£25k Dependant of experience
Hours Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm

I have great pleasure in supporting our client in the recruitment of a Tech Support Helpdesk Advisor which will also support the field based engineers on occasion but will mainly be based out of their offices in Lancing.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting business clients with the day to day running of their telecoms and IT systems
• Responding to faults and queries
• Logging and manging faults
• Remote system diagnosis
• Replacing and testing faulty equipment
• On occasion attend customer sites for maintenance and service calls
• On a rota system will man the out of hours fault line (there is extra pay involved when doing this)
• Complaint handling and expert customer service skills

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience

• Proven technical helpdesk experience
• Knowledge of IT networking or telecoms
• B2B engineering experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
