We are very pleased to be working with a global financial events company. My client specialises in providing conferences and seminars for the currency and bank payment sector. Their team is based across the world, in Australia, Canada/US, Spain and the U.K.

Most recent conferences have taken place in Bangkok, Singapore, Miami and Texas

They are looking for a highly organised events coordinator, who would want to work from home and travel for work (up to 7-10 days at a time)

Main Duties

·Manage communication streams for attendees, sponsors, event staff, speakers – insuring expectations are set and deadlines for event information are communicated
·Oversee the fee billing and completion of payments
·Preview trips for event hotels – travelling out to venues before events and liaising with local vendors
·Consult with senior members of staff on matters affecting events and attendees, i.e. contracts, exhibition companies, freight loading areas
·Main point of contact for exhibition company, maintaining regular contact on matters including:
A.Floor plans, booth and meeting room assignments
B.Delegate registrations and lists
C.Presentation information
D.Event items and delivery – tracking orders
E.Host allocations and responsibilities
F.Assist with special needs
·Review all items such as brochures, books, websites and handouts
·Pre-event planning with hotel/vendors/exhibition companies
·Stay present during set up and through-out the event – manage deliveries, tackling issues that may arise
·Post event communications – including attendance breakdowns, photos and delegate lists.
Requirements

Essential
üKey responsibility for providing and maintaining excellent customer service – you need to be self-motivated, strong multi-tasker and an organisational pro
üMust be able to work independently in a virtual environment (home office) – working outside of normal office working hours (to match time zones of colleagues)
üInternational travel is required – 30-50% of your time may be spent travelling
üStrong English Communication skills (both oral and written)
üCurrently based in the UK
Desirable
üSpanish or second language
üExperience in the cash industry
