We are working to recruit a Science teacher, on an ongoing long-term basis, for one of our schools in Oldham. This is for one term in the first instance, but may be extended into the 2018/19 academic year.

You will specialise in your chosen discipline to KS4 and be able to teach with the same vigour and enthusiasm to a top set, Year 11 group with high levels of G&T students... to a tricky Year 8 class who's learners need that little extra in order to achieve their potential.

Our school has recently undergone a full, thorough rebuild and renovation and plans are afoot for further developments on their campus. The school is adorned with bright, vivid artwork and corridors are illustrated with everything positive our schools strives to instill into its students. From British values, to motivational quotes - our school promotes a positive outlook at all times.

If you are looking for a new long-term, and are available immediately, we would love to hear from you if:

- You hold UK QTS (qualified teacher status) in Secondary Science
- Have a track record of improving outcomes in KS3/4 Science
- Be willing to undergo a full, thorough vetting procedure
- Be a confident, capable behaviour manager
- Be dedicated to extra-curricular clubs and events

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, younger learners and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. All positions will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
