NQT Primary Teacher - Reception - September 2018
A great 2 form entry in Reception, Edgbaston - September 2018 – Temp-Perm role following play based EYFS curriculum. This school is seeking an NQT for this position to support them during their induction period.

This wonderful two form entry Primary located near to Birmingham City Centre serves a diverse community in which differences are celebrated and a real emphasis is placed on holistic education. They are currently Ofsted 'Good', and have made a big leap forward in recent years that has created a feeling of success in the school that everyone is very proud of. Excitingly, they have also undergone extensive refurbishment and expansion to accommodate for a growing intake in September 2018 and have a new and improved outdoor and early years setting that the children love. The school works well to promote excellent relationships between staff and parents and carers, which has undoubtedly helped them to raise attainment and progress levels.

About the role
The children in this school are keen, engaged and lively. They have an excellent EYFS setting that is fully resourced with loads of indoor/outdoor space to encourage learning in many different ways. Children are encouraged to access a range of activities within the classroom and in the outdoor area. Each class has several areas including role play, maths, creative, investigation, reading corner and computer. They use PLODs to shape children's learning through creative and purposeful play. This school has a good proportion of students who are EAL, as well as entitled to free school meals, so the Early Years function is absolutely crucial in bridging the literacy gap and giving these children the best possible start.
