New Directions Education are currently recruiting for a Mathematics Teacher to work in a School in the Wrexham area to start as soon as possible. This is a long term position based on a full timetable. The school in question is renowned for its thriving Mathematics Department making this role an excellent opportunity for both Newly Qualified Teacher’s (NQT’s) as well as more experienced teachers.

The successful candidate will:

• Be passionate and knowledgeable, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to succeed;
• Have the ability to teach up to GCSE level;
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (unless confident with public transport)
• Be in possession of a DBS with the update service or to be happy to complete a DBS through New Directions, and be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

The Role of a Supply Mathematics Teacher:

Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism;

Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development;

Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
