Finance Analyst – Clothing
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Salary: £50,000 pa
Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1pm Fridays
Brook Street Leicester is proud to be working in partnership with an international motorcycle manufacturer, who is currently experiencing phenomenal growth and expansion in various departments at their flagship head office based in Hinckley.
This newly formed role is to support the future growth of the clothing division, therefore the suitable candidate must have passion, drive, enthusiasm, dedication and desire to expand/progress within a role.
The role will also provide finance support to the UK Sales Division with a view to moving the operational management accounts for the clothing division to the role within 6 months.
The role:
• Analysis to support commercial decision making from moving to 3PL to future pricing strategy.
• Dealer Retail Reporting.
• Daily, weekly and ad hoc internal reporting on sales, stocks, dealer performance, pricing.
• Full ownership of the clothing management accounts.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Support the production of year end accounts, tax pack and supporting files, and being a key point of contact for audit queries in relation to clothing.
• Daily, weekly and ad hoc internal reporting on sales, stocks, dealer performance, pricing.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, whilst proactively identifying and minimising control weaknesses.
• Additional responsibilities outside the standard accounting function due to working in a lean team and varied environment.
Essential skill requirements:
• Qualified accountant.
• Relevant experience in an accounting environment ideally in a retail sector.
Desirable skill requirements:
* Analysing finance within a retail industry .
* Experience of SunSystems, Infor LN, AS400.
* Degree in Accounting and/or Finance (or similar).
