Prospero Teaching are looking for an English Teacher with experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The role is based in the Ipswich area and is start from Easter 2018.

About the school and contract:

• We are looking for a qualified English Teacher to work with small groups of students
with a range of complex difficulties including SEMH.
• Purpose built school with specialist learning areas.
• This is a permanent post to stat after Easter 2018.
• The role is to work with students in key stages 2 and 3 in a school that Ofsted have
rated as “Good”

About the successful SEMH English Teacher:

• Previous experience teaching English, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this
in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
• Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
• A passion for working with children with SEMH.
• Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.

To be eligible the SEMH English Teacher must have/be:

• Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
• A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
• The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.
• Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with
Parents/Carers.
