We are looking for a Sociology teacher for the April - July 2018 academic term. The successful teacher will be expected to deliver the subject to key stage 3, 4 and 5 students.

This mixed secondary school in Bexley is looking for experienced and qualified teachers to join their Humanitites department as a Sociology teacher.

Your new role
You will be expected to successfully deliver a wide range of lessons to GCSE students within the Sociology department. You will have demonstrated experience teaching Sociology to secondary students. You will need to be confident teaching the theoretical aspects of the subject and will be delivering your lessons aligning with the national academic curriculum.

You will need qualified teacher status (QTS), as well as relevant teaching experience to GCSE standard. You will need an understanding of the Sociology national curriculum and must be confident in your ability to successfully articulate the subject to students of varying learning needs. You must also be confident in your ability to deliver lessons to a standard that may enhance the learning experience for students, whilst giving them the greatest opportunity of passing their examinations.

This position is a fixed contract to commence after the Easter break on 16th of April until the end of the current academic year on the 20th of July, 2018. There is the possibility of extension after this date.
