This great company in Bolton is looking for a number of Claims Handlers. If you have some previous experience within Insurance Claims then this is a great opportunity.

It's a great place to work with parking, and close to public transport links.
You will be providing a point of contact for broker queries and making sure these are actioned. Keeping policy holders fully updated throughout their claim.

Duties within the role will include:
Taking notification of new claims over the phone
Liaising with the policy holders insurer's on all aspects of the claim and advising on progress
Also dealing with small claims recovery, obtaining evidence from the policy holder of losses suffered as a reesult of an accident
Assisting in the recovery of losses from third parties
Resolving any liability issues and appointing solicitors to pursue cases where litigation is required to progress the claim.
Managing the claim from first notification of loss to completion of the claim.

You should have a "can do" attitude, be self motivated and have a strong committment to customer service. Good organisation skills are important with the ability to work unnder pressure and achieve targets.

A previous work history in customer service is essential with some claims management experience or motor claims. A good standard of education is needed and you should be PC literate

Salary will be dependent on experience with 15,500 for around 6 months experience and the higher salary paid for more experience. 21 days holidays plus bank holidays and a day off for your birthday. Healthcare plan and pension
