Research Executive

Operating within the U Account Marketing and Product Teams, The successful candidate will assist the Marketing Manager in the planning, implementation and analysis of U Account’s research programmes.

This role will suit a graduate with an interest in market and product research who is keen to find out consumer insight and deliver evidence based recommendations to business stakeholders.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in a wide range of research areas such as consumer insight, user testing, marketing intelligence and branding research, as well as the application of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
The role is best suited to professionals with 1 - 2 years experience in the research field.

Consulting with internal clients about project requirements and objectives
Assisting in the designing of experiments and use of various research methods
Assistance in logistics and mediation of focus groups
Carrying out qualitative and quantitative research
Advising internal clients on how they can best make use of results
Leading the competitor research programme – pricing, marketing, target market, investment size, etc.
Assisting in the analysis of results of omnibus surveys and preparing the presentation of those results.
The presentation of results to stakeholders
Arranging quotations from third party research agencies

Educated to degree level
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and understanding of research methods
Strong organisational skills and an ability to work under time pressure
High level of competence with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience in the area of financial services or other regulated companies is preferred
Hold a positive can-do attitude
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

18–23K annual salary, depending on experience
10% annual bonus (performance based)
23 days holiday + 1 additional day each year up to 28 days (not including bank holidays)
