We currently have an opportunity to undertake an Engineering Apprenticeship within our Energy Recovery Facility at Runcorn. This is an exciting opportunity to become a highly skilled maintenance technician / engineer who will maintain the state of the art electro/mechanical systems, used in our Energy Recovery Facilities.
The Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme will take approximately four years to complete and will require vocational training as well as study for a Technical Certificate at a local provider. During this time, the Engineering Apprentice will become qualified to carry out planned preventative maintenance, general maintenance of equipment, modifying, testing, inspecting condition based monitoring and fault finding within our systems
The Ideal Engineering Apprentice
The successful Engineering Apprentice will need to commit to a comprehensive training Programme, ‘on the job’ training and completion of a portfolio of evidence to support an NVQ Diploma (or equivalent).
We are looking for candidates with a flexible and proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn.
Successful candidates should have or expect to achieve, five GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths and a Science at Grade C or above and two further GCSEs at Grade C or above.
