The Humanities Teacher Person Specification
This role requires a hard-working, professional Humanities Teacher who can show a confident, authoritative approach in the classroom whilst maintaining a focus on student achievement. The school will be looking for individuals who have an in depth knowledge of the curriculum as well as a comfortable, charismatic teaching approach that will allow their teaching to be fun, effective and interactive. In addition, you must be able to keep the attention of students who are high-achieving, and prepare work for the more advanced students to keep them motivated. About the Humanities Teacher Role
You will be working in this schools professional Humanities department, and part of your role will be to work closely with a focussed team of Humanities teachers who all pull the same way and have the best interests of the school and the students at heart. If you can create and support a positive environment then you will fit right in here. You will also be able to benefit from full and unequivocal support from an impressive graduate Teaching Assistant who is also pursuing a career in teaching! Your timetable will be made up of classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, working with pupils of varying ability day-day.
