Are you an LLB/GDL Graduate looking for an opportunity to gain legal experience and essential claims handling skills or, are you an experienced Claims Handler working within a private practice firm who is keen to secure a role working in house for the client?

If so, I am working with a Claims Handling organisation who have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Trainee Claims Handler to join them. It is an entry level role and full training will be provided.

This is an opportunity to gain invaluable experience working in house for the client and to be provided with full training in becoming a Claims Handler. In addition a competitive salary is on offer with a great benefits package including company pension, healthcare, death in service and discounted gym membership.

This is a 12 months fixed term contract, however, there is a strong possibility this role will be made permanent after the 12 month period which will be based upon performance within the role.

To be considered for this role the following criteria must be met;

  • Keen interest in the area of Personal Injury
  • 5 GCSE passes at Grade C (or equivalent) including Maths and English language
  • LLB or GDL Law qualification
  • Able to build good working relationships
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Good IT skills i.e. experience in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong team player
  • Committed to learning and developing new skills

In addition to the above you should be conscientious, dynamic, have an eye for detail and have the ability to work within a fast paced environment whilst maintaining excellent quality of service and client care.

The role will initially focus on desktop handling of Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims across multiple jurisdictions with the opportunity to progress into other disease types including asbestos-related diseases such as mesothelioma.

Occupational Disease/Industrial Disease is an active area of law in terms of recent legislation and jurisprudence.

This is a great and exciting opportunity for an LLB/GDL Law Graduate who has a keen interest in the area of Personal Injury to be fully trained as a Claims Handler and work directly for the client.

Should this opportunity be of interest to you please contact me as soon as possible to discuss in further detail.
