  • Up to £435 per day
  • Initial 6 month contract – could potentially extend to 12 – 18 months
  • Role based in Cambridge

The main purpose of this role is to project manage the set up or move of new or existing IT services to new IT suppliers/partners. There is huge scope with this role and there is a lot in the pipeline so will be a very busy role and big project for someone to manage so a great opportunity to get your teeth stuck right in there!



There is big flexibility in terms of hours for the right individual which is a very rare opportunity in the world of IT and one we hope to utilise. We will consider people that are looking for:-
  • Part-Time hours – including during school hours
  • Term-time only
  • If you want to work on a FTC or as a Contractor


In an ideal world we are looking for someone who has experience in the below areas:-
  • SIAM experience
  • Experience working within Enterprise IT
  • Previously worked in Project Management within a Supplier Transition Programme
  • Knowledge transfer management – including service acceptance criteria
  • Experience of multi supplier integrations
  • Service governance templates
  • Interactions with related services, platforms and infrastructure and other suppliers and in house teams if required
  • SLA guidance, especially around back to back SLAs
  • KPI and metrics set up – baselines and trends and supplier / service reporting / scorecard guidance
  • Service and contract change control procedure templates
  • Supplier validation & testing
  • CSI good practice including automation and service catalogue integration

  • You will be outstanding in your communication! You must like talking to people and not hide behind emails. You need to be good with people, understanding the pace that is required to get the job done and understanding it’s how you communicate with others to get to the end goal
  • You will be excellent at influencing others and negotiating deals that feel like a win win for all parties involved
  • You will have a lot of confidence and presence and be able to work with technical experts
  • Confident in promoting collaboration and cooperative working practices and comfortable with any and all project methodologies – you will work in a hybrid environment on this project with Agile and Waterfall
