Maintenance Engineer – Bolton - Salary £28,580 - £35,300 DOE

Our Client based in Bristol are currently looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team. This role is full time Monday to Friday.

Engineer Benefits:

The Mechanical Engineer will be focused on the customer experience. The Engineer will have the ability to support and be proactive in support the operational letter sortation machines and engineering workshop activities.

The Engineer will provide both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment within the depot. The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operation. If equipment is not available or performs badly it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site. This role impacts on all operation staff within the depot specifically those using sortation equipment within the warehouse.

Controls maintenance activity on shift and therefore the speed with which issues are resolved; this can have a significant service and financial impact during peak times. Within a typical depot will work on equipment such as (but not exhausted to): automated sorters, labellers, printers.

Engineer responsibilities:
