Salary Scale: Diploma Qualified £28,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

My client has been established over 17 years and is growing year one year. As a result of this growth they now require an additional paraplanner to join their team.

They are moving to new offices in Leeds in August / Septemeber this year (Free Parking).

Their newly refurbished office has been designed to provide outstanding staff and client facilities.

Fully air conditioned, chill out and relaxation areas, micro kitchens for snacks and drinks, comfy sofas, professional modern meeting rooms, 50-70 seat auditorium for meetings and seminars to mention just a few of the facilities.

My client also maintains a family feel to the company and has a very supportive team.

Main duties


The function of this Business Support Manager (Paraplanner) role is to support a financial consultant within one of the UK’s leading wealth management organisations.

The Business Support Manager researches and prepares solutions for the consultant, who in turn presents them to their client. You will therefore be required to:

  • Liaise with the consultant to obtain accurate/relevant client information.
  • Produce appropriate research and obtain necessary documentation.
  • Produce reports to a high standard that are then presented to clients.
  • Process all applications
  • Maintain all client records

    Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.

    The ideal candidate would have strong administrative skills and an ability to learn new things quickly.

    Relevant qualifications would be valuable, but not essential. The successful candidate would be expected to progress through relevant qualifications and the company would support this.

    The firm deals with all types of business such as Investments, Pensions, Protection and Mortgages. However, cases completed by the business support manager are predominantly Investment and Pensions.
