Our clients Facilities Services are one of the UK’s leading FM companies in the UK and provide bespoke operational mechanical and electrical, planned preventative and reactive maintenance to many blue chip clients.

Position: Engineering Services Manager
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (Commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the role:

Our clients Facilities Services have an exciting new opportunity for a tenacious Engineering Services Manager to lead a team of service engineers and specialist service partners within the premises of a world class major retail client in the heart of Leeds. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager this critical position will further strengthen their excellent relationship with the asset owner, Land Sec.


- Effectively lead, develop, motivate and manage performance of a team of Service Engineers and Supervisors and oversee recruitment, induction and staff retention
- Frequent client performance reviews to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
- Actively seek new ways of working, best practise and continuous improvement whilst ensuring they work within our clients Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Engage and closely monitor contract appointed subcontractors ensuring high quality of work and value for money through regular audits
- Full accountability for delivery of contract financial plan including gross profit, WIP and debt collection
- Contribute to further business development activity, including participation in customer presentations
- Ensure all aspects of health, safety and compliance are managed due diligently in accordance with company and industry leading

About you:

- In depth experience of delivery exceptional customer service working in similar role within a Building Services Engineering environment preferably within a retail setting
- Experience of managing a team of service engineers providing planned and preventative maintenance service to clients
- Relevant qualifications in either an Electrical or Mechanical field
- Thorough knowledge of building management systems (BMS)
- Outstanding people management, leadership, motivational and development skills
