Our client, a national blue chip contractor is looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant for their contract at Hinkley Point.

Job Information:

• No parking on site so free Park & Ride options available

• Hours on site 8am to 5pm (30 minutes per day lunch)

• Rate: £9 per hour

The Role:

Assisting the Payroll team with the following duties –

• Collecting and inputting staff and contractors hours onto a database

• Matching timesheet hours with electronic checking in/out system

• Answering payroll queries

• Loading pensions payments to the various pension sites

• Dealing with external supplier queries, HMRC, DWP, Courts and other agencies

• Other administrative duties where required

Skill Set Required:

• Knowledge of Excel and strong numeracy, accuracy skills

• Time management

• Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)

• Knowledge of PAYE Legislation and HMRC (desirable)

• Payroll qualification preferred but not essential

• Good team player
