Financial Controller Multi-National Blue Chip Company
A global Blue Chip company, based in Chester are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager role to join their growing team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing and taking a hands on role within the month end process. They will also take a leading role in ensuring IFRS reporting standards are met and dealing with any compliance issues. The Financial Controller will be responsible for:·Preparation of accurately monthly management accounts ·Preparation of year-end accounts under UK GAAP / IFRS·Responsibility for the management of cost accounting, controlling and reporting·Production of variance and cost analysis·Planning and management of budgets including liaising with budget holders·Production and timely reporting of periodic target-vs.-actual comparisons for turnover, costs, profit, finances etc·Maintaining a meaningful information system as well as in relation to KPIs and reporting·Production of profitability analysis and identifying way in which to improve profitability ·Supervision of a small team
Ideally you will have/be:·ACA/ACCA Fully Qualified Accountant – 1st time passes ideal·Experience working within a worldwide business advantageous·Working knowledge of IFRS·Previous hands on experience producing monthly management accounts·Experienced managing a small team of finance staff
