I am working with a nationwide Top firm of Chartered Accountants which specialises in the owner-managed business sector. They are enjoying a period of growth and development and are seeking new personnel to underpin this progression plan. This business covers a wide range of accountancy and business advisory services providing support to owner-managed businesses in the East Midlands & East Anglia, counties include Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire.

They are keen to secure the best talent in the market, and therefore they are looking to have conversations with varying levels of people from newly qualified, to highly experienced “tax experts”

The responsibilities of the roles vary, and are challenging interesting, no two days are ever the same. You will manage a portfolio of clients providing technical and financial assessments to these clients, supported by a team of professionals around you varying from support to junior and up and coming Accountants who you will equally manage and mentor.

It goes without saying that these roles required extensive and broad knowledge of tax, which could include R&D expertise with all round experience gained working in a fast moving firm of Chartered Accountants’. You will be able to demonstrate exemplary progression in working experience and qualifications and the desire to progress further beyond your current knowledge and qualifications.

You will be qualified in your field of tax, with the desire to further study if required. You will be a confident communicator as you will be speaking to clients and working closely with external customers, professional people as well as internal contacts. A strong self motivating and “can do” personality. You will have excellent IT skills

You will be able to work in small teams whilst having the benefit of a larger network of personnel and offices throughout the group.
