Management Accountant (6 month Fixed term Contract)

East Riding of Yorkshire

    Qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA or QBE with strong breadth of Management Accounting experience.6 month FTC.Commercial & Business acumen.

Based in Kingston Upon Hull my client is a leading professional services organisation boasting a diverse client portfolio operating in a wide range of business sectors. As the business continues to grow the need has arisen to recruit a strong and capable interim management accountant to support the Financial Controller in across a range of month end duties.

About the role

Specific responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Monthly P & L analysis.
  • Accruals and Prepayments.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Cash flow forecast & projection work.
  • Prepare monthly KPIs and provide in-depth analysis of variances around work in progress.
    Implement “best practice” procedures across transactional areas of the Finance Function.

Candidate Profile

Qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT or Qualified by Experience, you will possess a wide variety of management accounting skills with the ability to convey financial information in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of excel in addition to excellent organisational skills and an attention to detail.
