Payroll / Finance Assistant
My client based in Mansfield are currently looking to recruit an experienced Payroll / Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will be split between processing the weekly and monthly payroll and Accounts duties.
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager your main duties as a Payroll / Finance Assistant will include:
•Processing the weekly and monthly payroll for all employees
•Processing timesheets, calculating hours, overtime
•Dealing with all PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP deductions
•Knowledge of RTI and auto enrolment
•Producing weekly reports
•Dealing with all Payroll queries
•Monthly submissions to pension provider
•Supporting manager with monthly payroll when required
• Being able to assist with Absence reports for management
•Purchase Ledger - Matching, coding and processing of invoices
•Sales Ledger - Raising invoices, allocating cash
•Reconciliations for sale ledger and purchase ledger
