Our client, based within the Insurance sector, is sourcing an Accounts/Finance Officer to join the team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 GCSE's including Maths and English and possess a higher education certificate in accounting equivalent to ACCA /AAT standard. The ideal candidate should have strong Microsoft office skills in particular Excel.

Duties will include:

  • Invoicing and Bookkeeping – inputting purchasing information and company invoices into QuickBooks
  • Query and purchasing follow-up – requesting necessary information and following up payments
  • Working with the team in organizing the bookkeeping and information flow in the office
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Preparing monthly payment runs for Directors
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Preparing PAYE and Payroll return
  • Preparing and submitting CIS returns
  • Preparing monthly management accounts for director review
  • Management and submission of FCA returns
  • Credit Control
