Our client, a large Building Products Manufacturing organisation, has a very exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled / Electrical Engineer at their location in Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large company at the spearhead of the their manufacturing process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Maintaining the plant to a high standard.

* Repairing the plant and facilities as required within your degree competence.

* Ensure all repairs are safe and the plant produces to the required performance, quality and cost.

* Repairing plant that has been identified by the PPM checks.

* Staying informed of current and upcoming legislation.

* Ensuring all contractor repairs under your supervision are completed safely and to the correct standard.

* Ensuring all plant repairs are completed to ensure the longevity of the plant.

* Communicating all work completed to the relevant teams and managers.

* Striving for continuous improvements in all aspects to OEE improvement.

* Participating in and leading Focus improvement teams using problem solving and Route cause analysis tools to deliver improved OEE.

* Delivering solutions to enable the introduction of new equipment from procurement to production hand over.

* Ensuring everything is done to minimise downtime and improve the reliability of the plants and increase OEE.

* 17th Edition.

* S.H.E.

* Ensuring all processing operations are performed in accordance with prescribed quality and SHE policy and procedures.

* To constantly demonstrate excellent SHE awareness and be intolerant of unsafe working practices.

* Staying informed of current and upcoming Legislation.

* Fully co-operating and actively participating in any SHE training required.

* Striving for continuous improvements in all areas relating to SHE.

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

* Performing planned preventative maintenance tasks and reporting any remedial work required.

* Reviewing PPM system and updating tasing stores.

* Raising purchase requisition to order parts as required, ensuring stores stock is available and that inventories reflect need and cost considerations.

* Communicating to your line manager stores requirements promptly.

* Managing consumable and parts stock and inventories against cost and breakdown / PPM requirements to deliver value for money.

* The management of deliveries and goods receipting procedure.

* Customer Service.

* Acting professionally with visitor's customers and their clients.

* Helping with the development of new products by advising on machine capabilities and inputting knowledge into trials.

* Liaising, co-operating and working constructively with all internal colleagues.

* Supporting all colleagues to ensure the maximum flexibility on site to achieve OEE targets.

* The development of production and maintenance colleagues in respect of fault identification and verification moving towards TPM philosophies.
