A well-established SME business with a head office in the Portsmouth area have approached HAYS to source a purchase ledger clerk to join the accounts team.
Your new role
As the purchase ledger clerk, you will report into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for;
- Purchase ledger
- Dealing with queries and requests
- Matching orders and delivery notes to invoices
- Invoice processing (600-800 per months)
- Reconciling statements and requesting copies
- Responding to customer queries and calling
- Monthly BACS reports
- Company credit card reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong experience in purchase ledger and will thrive in a role that is fast paced and offers variety. It is essential that you have good attention to detail and communication skills.
