The role of Finance Analyst was created to ensure Kerry Foods wins in our ever competitive market.

How do you do this?? - well by delivering financial insights and influencing stakeholders in financial and business decision making. You will help us deliver our objectives by providing and interpreting key commercial management information and analysis.

Scope of the Role

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work within the Performance, Insights & Analysis (PIA) team and will be aligned to one of three business process areas: Planning, Business Evaluations or Performance & Insights. This newly formed centralised Commercial Finance team will support all business units across Kerry Foods, which includes a portfolio of Branded and Own Label business, with customers across GB, Ireland and Continental Europe.

Key elements of the role are:

Performance Management - completing sales and profitability reporting / analysis and providing financial insights to help our key stakeholders make decisions on the brands of our business.. This means you'll really get to know our brands and business inside out.

Insight & Analysis - you'll input your thoughts on our plans and investment proposals, talking through the opportunities and risks involved to help us maximise our return on investment. And of course you'll evaluate as well. You'll also work with key stakeholders on developing business plans, evaluations, tenders, proposition development, new business wins, capex business case development.

Planning - You'll work on forecasting our business performance and setting our medium and long term plans. Again you'll partner with our stakeholders to evaluate and validate opportunities.

You'll get involved in lots of other activities as well, whilst living the Kerry Values everyday. This role means you'll need to engage & influence wider business teams so you'll need a high degree of relevant business knowledge. And of course you'll need to build a cross function network internally.

The finance analyst role requires that you will be studying towards or qualified in CIMA or ACCA, and have previous financial and analytical experience. Technical skills such as high-level excel and PowerPoint skills.

You will be proactive and enjoy responsibility as well as able to promote and embrace a culture of continuous improvement. FMCG or manufacturing experience is desirable.
